Zombies in the Snow, in which some Zombies rise out of the snowbanks near a tiny Alpine fishing village. The town fathers make an oak barrier, which the zombies simply chomp through. Then Gerta the milkmaid befriends the zombies and asks them to stop eating the villagers. The zombies agree and they celebrate May Day with the villagers.

The setting of the book reptile room?
