I received these error codes for my 1998 Dodge Avenger, 6cyl. 2.5 What does these codes mean? Where would I start to fix these issues? ~THANK YOU ~ P0108 P1297 P0401
An error code in the engine control computer. Try this.....have pen and paper ready then turn the ignition switch on (not start) and off 5x....the error codes should come up in the odometer readout. You may google the error codes or call the local auto parts store to figure out what they mean. If the codes do not come up just take it to Autozone or O'reilley's and have them hook it up to the code reader. Its a free service, they'll also tell you what the codes mean at that time.
TCM A/T controller circuit - this is what my OBD scanner says

The check engine light can mean any number of things. The best way to find out is to go to your local auto parts store and ask them to read the error codes from your car. I know that Autozone does this for free, I don't know if other stores do. The codes will tell what the problem is related to. They can also erase the error codes after the problem is corrected.
There are many different reasons for a SMTP error code. Not all codes mean the same thing, so it is best to look at what the problem the code is before attempting to fix.
It means that you put in to many codes at once or the game is corrupted
