The agricultural products of North Carolina are:

tobacco, corn, sweet potatoes, green beans, and peaches.

The agricultural economy of the state is being challenged by the so-called high tech research triangle. Still, crops in the state furnish it with a good export market. Although tobacco use in the US may have dropped, overseas markets still depend on North Carolina tobacco.

Tobacco remains a crop of major proportions although consumption has decreased worldwide and this is a high labor and manpower product to bring to market.

Sweet potatoes, corn, apples, peaches, green beans.

Add greenhouse and nursery products, which include Christmas trees. North Carolina is second only to Oregon in production of the latter.

Also add hogs, chickens, and turkeys. They, too, are agricultural products.
