Isn't really a thing. Instead, there are 8 or so unrelated compounds that are collectively grouped as "the B vitamins." Each of them has a distinct function, but they all have to do with cell metabolism. The numbering is wonky because other compounds have at times been included.
B1 - generation of energy from carbohydrates
B2 - energy production in the electron transport chain, the citric acid cycle
B3 - energy transfer reactions
B5 - oxidation of fatty acids and carbohydrates
B6 - metabolism of amino acids and lipids
B7 - metabolism of lipids, proteins and carbohydrates
B9 - cell division and the production of red blood cells
B12 - essential in the formation of nerve sheaths and has several other functions besides

You get Vitamins A , B , C and D .
Vitamin B and C are soluble in water. Vitamin A,D,E and K are soluble in fat.
A B and C are water soluble. D and E fat soluble.
I can think of vitamins A, B (several different ones), C, D, E, K, and co-Q-10.
the B vitamins and vitamin C are water soluble while Vitamin A,D,E and K are all fat soluble.
