I believe all heroes have weaknesses and faults, but I would not say that they have feet of clay. Feet of clay suggests that they cannot hold up under pressure. Some heroes may have 'cold feet' from time to time, but what makes them heroes is that they indeed hold up under pressure when the time is right.
