There is a small, Allen headed, plug on the water neck where the top radiator hose connects with the engine. When I filled the radiator, I removed this plug and stuck a funnel in the hole to fill. Any air in the system escaped during this process. The plug is put in there pretty tightly, so, be prepared to twist with some force, and use similar force to re-seal it.
