We have had a lot of ups and downs in our money, the great depression. During this time, the federal government has taken more power, like income tax and SSI, and has changed the way people live and work. Some things that have changed is the power for the supreme court to not just call stuff unconstitutional, it also has the power to interpret laws. The house and the senate have changed in such a way as to make the constituition obsolete and to not even read the whole bill before passing it.
