An encyclical is a letter from the pope to the Church. Regular bishops do not send letters to the entire Church.
Only the Roman Catholic Church and the Coptic Orthodox Church use the term 'pope' for their leaders. Other Orthodox Churches, including the Greek Orthodox, use the term Patriarch.The present Coptic pope is Pope Tawadros II.

Pope means father... I am sure It means papa/ father in Latin...and Pappas or similar in Greek. They call him that because he is the leader/ "father" of the church.
