That applies to just about any other object in our Solar System - and equivalent objects in other solar systems: planets, moons, dwarf planets, asteroids, meteorites, pieces of dust, comets. I don't think there is a generic name for all of them.

Astronomy is a branch of science which focuses on the study of celestial or heavenly bodies or objects such as stars, planets, moons and galaxies. It is one of the most ancient and fascinating branch of science. It gave us information about things that we did not know.
stars DONT move. if they did our SUN would move. IT DOESNT DOES IT??? no. the planets move. sometimes it seems like the sun moves but its the earth orbiting the sun. THE SUN IS A STAR! so its possible that somewhere in the NEVER-ENDING space, there could be OTHER planets orbiting another SUN. and on one of those PLANETS there could be LIFE. so earth could possibly be only one of the MANY planets with LIFE. ........possibly........ Distance. Stars are too far away for you to see them move. They are all orbiting around the galactic core but what you see is the light they gave off years ago (eg--a star 1,000 light years away, the light will get here 1,000 years later). Download a good star chart and move the time line back or forward then you will see the stars move.
No; there would be no stars to produce the gamma rays.
There are a lot more than four stars besides the Sun. I assume this isn't a totally stupid question, so if you gave us more context we might be able to answer it.
Galileo knew the points of light around Jupiter were not stars because they appeared to be dancing around the planet and were not acting like stars. This gave evidence to the fact that the planets revolve around the Sun.
You see the light it gave off in the past, not now. The star you see now could have died years ago, but its light is still trying to reach earth.
The skylight gave the gloomy loft much needed light. I could see the stars through the skylight.
We actually know about what the stars WERE like, since our telescopes are picking up the light that they gave off a very very long time ago.

it gave you light...
they gave it 4 stars or 3 and a half it said in the trailer ''amazing and 4 stars''.
If the guy gave it to you and told you to call him, then surely it was meant for you, not your friend.
Alnitak, like many stars, was named by Arabic astronomers. They gave it the name Al Nitak which means "the belt", because they saw it as part of the belt of the constellation we call Orion.
i did a little research and it is clear that they gave it 2 1/2 stars, when i would of giving it 3 1/2 stars or 4 stars at the most.
