I mean look, if you love someone then that isn't going to change. Your family should accept the person you love because they make you happy. If you your family is looking down on you then they are just being ignorant and stupid. You should let them know that you do love that person and that he makes you happy. And if they cant accept you/him or her then that is their own problem. Let them know that family is suppose to support you through everything and if they cant support your decision then they arent being a very good family now are they?
