First make sure they are not contractions. Try to see a chiropractor. Most will treat and adjust even while your pregnant. Some people look down on chiropractors. If I did not go see one during my second I would not have been walking the last three months of my pregnancy. With my first I was crawling to the bathroom the last three months. They can do wonderful things sometimes. If your insurance does not cover one, depending on what state you live in, most are affordable to pay out of pocket. Call and talk to one.
Gentle stretching can help. Lie on your back, and have your partner help gently push your legs up (one at a time) while you keep your knees straight and toes pointed to your face. Hold position for 15-30 seconds, relax and repeat 10 - 15 times every morning before getting up, and every night at bedtime. This is like doing stretches where you sit and reach for your toes, but doing it this way is less stressful on a pregnant womans body. This stretches the ligaments from your feet to lower back. All of which, if loosened, take a lot of strain off of your back.
