Turn it the other way.
Hook positive up first, negative last.
Usually a car battery, but it also depends on the size of the battery.
I would check the weiring harness from the car to the starter
It depends on the battery charger. Some chargers will detect that they're hooked up backwards and do nothing. More than likely though it will dis-charge the battery pretty quickly, and probably damage it.
Just hook it up like you would hook it up to your car+ to + and - to -
what exactly happens to your alternator when you hook up your battery backwards?
With any battery on any car, the negative cable is ALWAYS the first off and last on.
Yes, but it will not work.
Type your answer here... HOOK IT BACK UP!
Something is on pulling power from the battery at the moment you hook it up. Or you are connecting it up backwards if you see allot of sparks.
On the firewall in engine compartment to the upper right of the distributor. Burns through if you hook the battery up backwards.
You can start a car without a battery if you hook up a jump pack or use jumper camples but it could fry your alternator. It is pointless to charge a car without a battery. When you charge the car you are charging the battery.
