What do you do if you lose your best friend?

If your best friend moves on then you have to move on as well, be thankful for the time you had with them and spend time with your other friends. Unfortunately friends will come and go throughout your life as you age and times change as you don't always keep the same interests or paths.

Show him/her what she is missing, and then when they try to be your best mate again smile and tell them you no longer trust them and they missed out =]

You can say I'm sorry and give them stuff that they like such as candy, help on homework, teaching them something useful.

My best friend just moved, and what I did was I sent her letters with pics. of me and other friends she had. If you have an email (which I don't) then you can email her, or if both of you are on Facebook, then you 2 could chat on there. If she or he didn't move too far away then you could maybe plan to visit. Oh yeah, there is also Skype.

Try to be understanding. There are several possible reasons why this might have happened. * They may have tried to get in touch and not been able to; * They may not have had time to get in touch, if something arose at short notice; * They may have sent a message which was not delivered; * They may have found saying goodbye too difficult and not felt able to do it; * They may have been otherwise prevented - but other people's timetables * .... and probably other reasons I can't think of immediately. So, with all that in mind, what do you do? Well you try to get in touch - in writing or by phone - and see what happened.

I'd suggest trying to talk to this person if they were a true friend. Friends all have arguments and sometimes heated ones may make one or the other go away for a while. Don't do anything drastic, friendships are constantly evolving, dont' give up on it! :) If you need someone to talk to, please do, don't hold it in and let depression influence you. well the same thing just happened to me today except it was two best friends and they ditched me for homework. We had 2 pages of homework and they didn't come to my sports game because of it. So what I suggest is maybe just try to stay away from them for about a day until things cool off or wait until an apology

okay so you try not to talk to her about a day or 2,my friend one time in math class we were supposed to work with 3 people i told to work with me and my other friend she said no she just want to work with my other friend that i was supposed to work with and we are bff AND SHE ONLY LIKE WORKING WITH SMART PEOPLE KNOW IAM NOT TALKING TO HER.
