Sounds like the classic ignition wire problem. Replace them.

What has been working for me is to spray plug wires with WD40. Other than that you may want to replace plug wires. I have 300K on mine so the cheap fix is where it's at.
check the coil resistor next to the distruibuitor..

you can dry charcoal with just putting it in the sun. in the oven it will probably start on fire
