if its newer than 1995 then yes. anything up to and including the 1995 model year does not Answer: 2nd generation 4runners have crankshaft & camshaft position sensors built into the distributor.
Mine does. My dad has fixed it but it's starting to act up again, probably about a couple years later. It really doesn't want to work when it's cold outside.
i give up, where is it?
If the vehicle has an automatic transmission, it will have a dipstick. Manual transmissions do not have a dipstick.
the rear springs have lost their ability to hold the weight. you can replace them with after market ones or a spring shop . or you could ad a 2inch block under the spring and still keep the factory shocks you can pick these up at your local parts store for about $30.00 The springs on the 1st gen 4runners are identical to the ones on the pickup truck, so when Toyota put the fiberglass shell over the back the springs couldn't support it as well. Read the wikipedia entry on 1st gen 4runners it will tell you all about it.
It is located on the transmission box nearby the engine
NO way. Not even close.
how do I replace the seal on a 1990 Toyota 4x4 pick up, where the transfer case meets the exterior housing of the manual transmission?
take it to someone. well worth the 150 dollars . and if it blows up u can blame the shop
Yes, have the fluid and filter changed.
What type of transmission fluid does my 1989 toyota pick up truck take, manual 4 speed.
