well ,it depends on how the catfish is acting. if it annoys the turtle or harasses it, the turtle will obviously react.
turtle feeding and races the traditional cliff jump
It depends on the turtle, and how much time you spend with it. If you work with your turtle a lot, and it feels safe with you, you can work your way into hand feeding.
your feeding it too much
It is possible, but is not recommended as feeding pets human food is un-healthy for them.
If your turtle is not eating and you are giving him food pellets and fruit mix it may be due to hibernation. It also may be due to your turtle not feeling well.
It depends on what type of turtle it is. At young ages though most turtles are mainly carnivorous, so turtle food brands like Wardleys or ReptoMin are often suggested. Remember though when feeding that large amounts of protein causes shell deformation and internal organ stress (and in severe cases failure). A good guide to avoiding this problem is only feeding the turtle how much would fit inside the head if it was hollow once daily until around 6 months of age, and then every other day after that. A good site to tell you the individual turtle species needs and care requirements is Austins Turtle Page.
You buy turtle food with calcium in it jus look at the label. you can also buy crikets and calcium powder and dust them before feeding~
yes the shell will grow with the turtle,, but you may be feeding to much ?if its getting to fat
Try feeding it on natural food instead of artificially processed gunk !
Feeding your turtle regularly will definitely increase it's size, although whatever anyone may suggest, do not overfeed your turtle to make it grow faster. Doing this can cause serious illnesses for your turtle. Keep in mind when feeding your turtle that it will almost always keep eating, so don't just assume that it is still hungry. The size of the turtle's tank will also change the size of your turtle, because turtles will grow to fit their surroundings. If you put one turtle in a big tank all by itself, over time it will grow a lot bigger. Also remember to let turtles grow naturally, because although we as humans can have some power over how big they get, it is not a good idea to try and speed up the growth process for your turtle!
