It's time to learn that if you like someone take the risk and ask her out. Everyone gets super nervous when they have to ask someone out on a first date. A good lesson to learn is never to second-guess another person. You have no idea how this girl may feel about you. By doing this you can end up near the end of your life be it your love life or career with many "what if I'd done this or that" or "I should have done that and now I'll never know." We all have rejection from different areas in our lives .... love, friends, family and jobs. It's part of life so you might as well get your feet wet now. I have no idea how old you are, but, now is the time to act mature and just go up to her (when she's alone) and ask her out. If she says "no" then realize many of us had a "no" more than once in our lifetime. If you don't ask this girl out and only confide in your good friend it can cause a whole lot of problems (such as you are going through now) that need not be.
