What do you do if your boyfriend broke up with you but right after that he told you that he loves you and wants to kiss you and that he only broke up with you to save your friendship?

I would be confused, I would probably back up and let the air cool. I would let him figure out what he really wants before engaging in any kissy kissy huggy huggy behavior. A platonic friendship doesn't contain sex. I would clarify with him what he calls a "friendship" that way there isn't any confusion as to what you both expect from the "friendship." It's sort of hard sometimes when we take a "friendship" to a different level, it's hard to try to maintain a healthy relationship with someone who at one time was more intimate in some way... whether it just be kissing, hugging, sex... I think that you should think about how you feel towards him. If you love him: I love you too, but i am confused about how you feel If you don't: I think you were right we should just stay friends.
