All you can do is try and get him to believe you. "Best friends" are good at manipulating their friends and it is always for their own selfish reasons - not for the best interest of their friend. It happens all the time and all you can do is your best to convince your boyfriend of the truth. They always find out eventually when someone, like a best friend, has manipulated and lied to them.
