You need to make sure your dog never gets loose again so it does not get into that situation again. You need to talk with the livestock owner and offer to pay for damages if the livestock was killed or if the attack causes veterinary expense to the owner. I do not know where you live but in our state a livestock owner has the right to shoot and kill any dog that is either chasing or attacking their livestock. You as the owner would be responsible for your dog being killed since you allowed it into the situation.
The tibetan mastiff is the strongest livestock dog. It has a ferocious temper and is huge.
a dog
it deppends what dog you have for example if you had a staffy and you took him/her out for a walk and you were attacked the dog would just sit there but if you had a strong willed dog him/her will proberbly protect you but a staffy certinly will not
Yes, if your dog was on leash or on your property and another dog came attacked your dog then the dog's owner should be responsible for all vet bills.
