You should never give your dog salt water. Just like us humans, salt water consumption can harm your dog by throwing off electrolyte balances through osmotic changes. This could be extremely dangerous for dogs, especially during hot weather. Dogs need clean, cool, fresh water.
Yes. Salt is a diuretic. Make sure your dog has access to plenty of fresh water, and it should be fine.
i believe that a dog drinking from a salt pool could eventually make the dog very poorly, as this could lead to the dog becoming dehydrated. and eventually could get salt poisoning, i personally would encourage the dog to drink fresh water and if it had been drinking salt water syringe water into its mouth to try and dilute down the effects of the salt.
ur face
would you O'D your dog on salt? that would be the effects of your dog drinking sea water your dog needs a balanced diet not one with a high salt content... this can lead to dehydration, blindness convulsions and can kill it will shut the organs of the body down and swell the brain....the list can be endless you only need to lose 4% of your body fluids for dehydration to set in....most dogs will generally be sick from drinking salt water
There is realy not that much to wary about The concentration of salt in a salt water pool is lower then the amount of salt found in tears my brothers small dog does the same thing and it is getting qiute old and is stil hail and hearty.
Yeah, it's totally fine for your dog to drink water from the dog park! It's just regular water like a drinking fountain! (it is the same water)
If your dog is still peeing on the couch, then you have not trained him/her well enough yet.
If your dog has been drinking a lot of water, checking to see if they are overheated with be the first thing to do. The second thing would be to see if the dog possibly has diabetes.
take it to a vet but usually it is fine or drinking to much water
A dog can stay without peeing for max of 4 and a half hours
You need to take the dog to the vet ASAP.
Peeing.
