What do you do if your girlfriend breaks up because she doesn't want kids after you planned to get an apartment preceding Hurricane Katrina?

Look man I don't know the whole situation, but all I can say is that I am a returning vet from Iraq and I was married for 8 yrs and I have two kids, well at least I was married till I returned from iraq... she left me with no money and ran off with my 2 babies. I have since moved on and I am in a very steady relation ship now that I really enjoy. All the while I thought that it was the end of my life loosing my wife but now I know that I have a woman that is 500 times better then she will ever be I guess the moral of this answer is move on don't waste your time trying to change a person or trying to make a woman want babies that don't want none, there is a woman that wants to have a lot of chrildren and will actulay love them insted of regret them if you know what I mean...you never give up and you will fing the girl of your dreams and belive it or not you will be the man of her dreams too GOOD LUCK Hurricane Katrina caused a lot of people to dishelve. This break up could have been the result of anything. Maybe she isn't ready for kids, maybe she doesn't want to be with you anymore, it really could be anything. She might be using kids as an excuse. Does she want committment before children? Maybe she wants to be married and feels you are not going to give her that. Talk it out and be understanding, listen and whatever you do....don't turn it into a fight (by yelling or arguing) or that will be another reason to leave you.
