A couple of things
-The disk could be bad and needs to be replaced
- Some of the PS2 older format games need to spin at faster rates, standing up the PS2 helps with spin speed. This is the blue disk format. Eventually all new games used a different format.
- Clean the lense with an alcohol swab. If you have the PS2 slim, cleaning the lense is no problem. If you have the old version of the PS2, a lense cleaner may do the trick if the lense is not so dirty that everything is unreadable. If that doesn't work, the only other solution is to look at online guides about how to disassemble your PS2 and clean the lense.
-If it's not a dirty lense, and it's not the disk, there is some other hardware problem much more difficult to fix.
I recently found my old playstation from when I was little, and I've been playing Spyro non-stop. But my memory card won't work...I don't want to risk leaving my playstation on for weeks at a time, like I did with my ps2
Unfortunately there is no way to get the file back.
Just trow it on the ground or hit it on a table it worked for me but if you trow it on the ground it will work better than hitting it on a table it does work you should try it.
take it out and put it back in.
it saves the memory on the ps2
Ps2 is $25.000 while memory card is 56dollars
No, you must have a memory card that is compatible with the PS2 to save any kind of memory.
well i blew into the back of the PlayStation 2 (unplugged) and then put the memory card in and out. it worked but took a while to get the memory card in the right spot.
No, but if you have one you can plug a PS1 memory card into a PS2 and save it on that
Yes, the memory card for the PS2 can indeed be used in the PS3 also.
You create a memory card in your harddrive for PS1 or PS2 games
yes I've read that you can if there is room
For a more detailed answer, the reason you cant is because tye ps2 memory cards dont even fit inside, they are too big. However, i think a ps1 memory card may work, as they work on gamecubes, and the wii uses gamecube memory cards
no there is no slot to put the memory card
it depends if its a memory card by sony it will work on any ps2 console but if its not by sony it wont work if your memory card is by sony it will say it on the front to sony memory cards is just data
I do believe that a PlayStation 2 will recognize a PlayStation 1 memory card. I use a ps1 memory card in my ps2 might it might vary from the different memory card brands.
