GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!

Call an ambulance or get someone to drive you. Do NOT try to drive yourself there, because the drug will make you very sleepy and confused. (You'll be unable to move or speak anyway and you'll probably hallucinate Spiders.)

if it sets your mind at ease, you will experience a bad deleriant trip long before you overdose. there are people who willingly take ~900mg for recreational use, without overdosing. of course, I don't recommend to the least such high dosages.

As a severely depressed teenager, I took a massive amount of Unisom and Benadryl (which mixing is strongly suggested against on the bottles) and sat down. Just the fact that I had so many pills sitting in my stomach made me sick, so I threw up twice before I dozed off to sleep. When I woke up a few hours later, I seemed to slip in and out of a conscious state. I only remember certain parts of the day (which were almost dream like) yet my sister, mother, and father all remember the rest.

I, apparently, came downstairs and smoked a cigarette with my sister, when she noticed I had blue lips, a crazily dehydrated mouth (they were so dry, that every movement of my mouth sounded like a disgusting smacking sound), and I was trembling like a junkie. Of course, I thought I was just fine and told her so every time she asked (answering in a weak voice and often trailing off.) I also had several conversations with my mother about the television, when she wasn't even at home or on the phone. I also told my sister strange things like, "I'm going to get my friends back, because the telephone is ghetto." And had seen a boat through some bushes (again, there was no boat there.) Then, I proceeded to argue with my father when he came home, because I had missed school that day...all the while, my sister freaking out because she thought I went completely bonkers and would actually hurt my dad. I then, went back to sleep, throwing up some more, in my sleep (I was not aware of this until coming back in and seeing the stains on my sheets and comforter.) My mom woke me up the same day at 6:00PM and by then, I was fine and sober.

So yes, I ended up here, alive and well. But it was probably the worst experience ever. In fact, I am so terrified, that I have sworn off taking anything with diphenhydramine hydrochloride...even if it is for Allergies.
