* You should be the center of attention regarding your own birthday, but not for 100% of the time. People wish you happy birthday, watch you blow out the candles, give you gifts and after that everyone starts to pair off and perhaps play games, talk, dance, etc. You may be a little too sensitive and feel you need 100% of the attention which is a wrong attitude to have. It is not uncommon for either siblings or young relations in the family to have a little rivalry between them and it appears you and your cousin simply butt heads.
