you dont do anything u let it die and keep it just for looks lol. no really umm you take it in to the store you got it from ask them for help tell them when how and why you think it might have happened and they will help you from there and if u have warrintys on it they wil renew it

∙ 13y agoUsually it would depend on the type of iPod. I have an ipod Touch, and when mine shuts down it's only one of two reasons: A) I manually shut it off, or B) It needs to be hooked up to it's charger and charged. Anything aside from that, and I call Apple.
