Just spray some carburetor cleaner into the carburetor and then let the car idle for a bit. In addition to the above answer add a can of Seafoam or Techron fuel system cleaner to a full tank of fuel once each year.
I like to spray carb cleaner on a lint free rag to clean out most of the intake first but you can spray some inside just try to get most of it out if you sprayed alot inside wait a few minutes so it can evaporate before you start your car just incase it ignites.OTMAN Carburetor cleaner is designed to remove heavy varnish and gunk from the inside and outside of a vehicle's carburetor. Fuel injectors take the place of a carburetor. They spray gasoline into the intake manifold just before the intake valves. Much cleaner burn and they don't leak like the old carburetors do.
check your vacume lines by spraying them down with carburetor cleaner. if the engine revs when you spray you found the leak. also check your air flow meter it could just be dirty.

Purchase a can of spray carburetor cleaner and clean all the linkage and moving parts. Do not use WD40 or similar product. If this does not help you may need to clean the internal parts inside the plenum with an approved cleaner. Also look for obstructions inside the car near the linkage.
If it's a 95 then you don't have a carburetor, you have TBI, or Throttle Body Injection. This basicly means that there are two injectors that spray fuel into the throttle body sitting on top of your intake plenum. To see if they are spraying fuel just have someone turn over the truck while you watch the injectors. Don't forget to takeoff the air cleaner housing first!

Assuming it's a carburated engine, the problem is a stuck needle and seat inside the carburetor. If everything else is ok, just remove the top of the carburetor and replace the needle and seat.
