If the flag is no longer touching the ground, nothing. For ease of typing, here is an answer I posted in another question:
"Actually, (assuming we're talking U.S. flag) you don't have to burn the flag if it touches the ground. That is an urban legend. Try a Google search for "U.S. flag etiquette" and one of the links is the offical U.S. government site with information. The only time burning is mentioned is when the flag becomes too worn to use or repair."
