What do you expect to gain from studying at MSM and how will this contribute to your professional career?

First of all let me introduce myself, my name is Kunzang Choden Tsering. I did my graduation from garden city college, India, in bachelors of commerce.

After graduation I joined as administrative officer where I have to lead an organization. This job was so challenging where Strategic management had to be used to determine mission, vision, values, goals, objectives, roles and responsibilities, timelines, etc. Mainly I use to focus on helping an organization do a better job - to focus its energy, to ensure that members of the organization are working towards the same goals, to assess and adjust the organization's direction in response to a changing environment. After experiencing all the hard and good times makes me believe that learning from MSM prepares one as an ideal manager by building my capacity to achieve any kind of goals and am very much sure that I will be capable to face and handle any kind of work or situation.

At present I am working as revenue officer in Thimphu Thromde. Here also I am functioning as revenue head where I have to lead. Although this may be small section in an organization, I feel so embarrassing sometimes as I am not able to lead properly. I am very much determined to study at MSM in the Netherlands so that I will be able to study strategic management where I can come back to my organization to handle any kind of circumstances smoothly. Handling and understanding the clients, employees, contract types, leave policy, work schedule and everything else about the organization has become challenging task for me so I am working hard and I think I should make use of this opportunity.

I have chosen to study Strategic management at MSM in the Netherlands as I am determined to learn what I needed in day to day life, to get knowledge and become skillful l person by becoming ready to lead any kind of organization and to be ready to face any unforeseen challenges in future to come. I chose to study particularly Netherlands because Netherlands is the place where all the good leaders or managers of the world come from and here I am taking chance to use this opportunity where I aim to become one of the good leader or manager in the society or may be the country that I am living in if I am given chance to study at great place like Netherlands.
