First of all, you shouldn't have to feed them in the first place. they should be in the wild, where the belong. but to answer your question, they eat bugs and small amphibians and any thing else it can get it's mouth around!!!

Cottonmouth will eat other snakes, lizards, fish, turtles, frogs, small birds, alligators, and small mammals.

Since it's a semi-aquatic snake, it's main diet includes amphibians and fish (the Latin name translates as 'hook-tooth fish-eater) - however, they will also eat rodents.
