Once you have done a copy, you can access paste options on the Clipboard group on the Home tab on the Ribbon, or by right-clicking on the mouse.
Click on the button with the mouse and it will open out the options for you.

Whatever is in cells can be copied to other cells. There are many ways to copy cells with the keyboard and the mouse. You can do it with the mouse in a number of ways. You can copy with the Fill Handle. You can do it by right-clicking on the mouse and pick options to copy and paste from the shortcut menu. You can use the mouse with the Ctrl key, to copy.

I don't understand how you've lost copy and paste, but if it's a windows computer then you should be able to use ctrl + c for copy and ctrl + v for paste. Hope this helps :)

ctrl-1 will copy the format of the selected cell then you will have to select the cell in which you want to change. On the menu bar there is a icon that looks like a paint brush. You can select this icon to copy a cells format as well but you will have to still select the cell in which you want the change to happen.
