A period is when menstruation occurs. Basically, an ovum (egg) is released from either ovary. The egg travels through the fallopian tube connected to the ovary and, eventually, it enters the endometrium. While the egg was traveling, the endometrium was thickening. If the egg has not been fertilized by sperm, it evaporates. The endometrium is not needed. The endometrium leaves the body through the vagina as a reddish fluid. This is a period.
They start during puberty
about 14
They do after they hit puberty around age 12-13 and the periods stop if they become pregnant.
Yes it is, puberty can be because what I learnt is that for girls puberty is hard by have periods & pimples, guys have growing pains, pimples & voice change. Puberty can help you have a baby & all things that help you more in life.
When you get your first period, it doesn't mean that puberty is over. It means that puberty has just started.
When you are just beginning to get periods (first few years) you may miss a few. It is completely normal. The only other thing is, if you miss periods, you could be pregnant (if you have had sex obviously!) If you havent, its normal
for female puberty girls get there periods which means that they can have sex and have babies and also they grow boobs. and have mood swings. hope i helped
Females can start having their periods once they start puberty. Puberty usually starts between the ages of 9 and 13.
Puberty isn't something which is taken in doses. Its a natural process which everyone has to go through.
Girls go through puberty when they start to be able to get pregnant thus periods being unfertillized eggs your body has got rid of.
You can only get pregnant if you are having your periods and you start your periods some time during puberty. (Ask a woman in your family about periods if you don't know what they are) In some cases your periods can start as early as nine years old but the norm (i think) is about 10 - 13 years. Don't worry if you start early or late though, the 'norm' is just the average. I wont explain about puberty because you are asking this question so you probably already know
it breaks and this is why women have periods, women have periods as soon as they hit puberty ranging from 8 to 18.
