Uniqueness of the device could be determined by many things but it is definatelly the leading console with SIXAXIS and PlayStation Move which allows you to play games like on Wii.

∙ 13y agoThey play PS3 games, both online and offline. They also play PS1 games. You can watch a Blu-ray movie if the PS3 is set up as described in ads, you can also see upgraded DVDs in near HD quality. If you are online you can update the games and PS3 to the latest releases quickly and also do a limited amount of web browsing.

∙ 13y agoWhen you buy a PS3 you should have a newer TV. The wires should come with the PS3, if you want HD gaming you should get an HDMI cable (it might come with the PS3).
If you want to play online you will need a newer router, I used to have an old one and the internet was horrible. So make sure to get a decent router!

∙ 12y agoYou get the PS3 and an A/V cable for a standard 480i TV connection that can also be used to provide a 480i picture on a HDTV. You get a single Dual Shock 3 controller and a connection cable that has a USB connection on the PS3 side and a mini USB on the controller side. The cable allows the PS3 to recognize the Bluetooth Controller and also to charge the battery. Besides the PS3 console you get the power cord to allow it to be plugged into a wall socket. There is also assorted paperwork
There are bundles that include more items that are sometimes combined with the PS3 when you purchase these special editions and they list the extras in the ads for the special PS3 editions
