In an average Hurricane Supply kit there should be enough nonperishable food, water, water tablets, medically prescribed medication, batteries for flashlights, several rolls of Duct Tape, candles, flint and striker, and small but well supplied emergency medical kit with plenty of bandages, band-aids, gauze, antibiotic ointment, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, syringes, tourniquets, super glue, scissors, tape for gauze, thread for stitching up wounds, stitching needle, alcohol pads, allergy medication, pain relievers, latex/non-latex medical gloves in different sizes, clotting powder, thermometer, ACE bandages, and other commonly supplied items in an emergency medical kit. There should be enough food, water, and supplies hygiene and medical supplies per person and animal to last a minimum of 3 months.
