Price the car somewhere between wholesale and retail. Be honest and inform any prospective buyer of anything wrong with the vehicle. Inform the buyer, verbally and in writing that they are buying the car "AS IS, with no written or verbal warranty". Makes sure the car is transferred into their name before allowing them to take possession. In the UK, just take their money, give them a receipt and the keys then, and most importantly fill in the ownership change details section of the vehicle registration document with all of their details after seeing proof of who they are e.g. autilities bill or ID card. Then send the registartion document to the Vehicle Licensing Authority. It is also wise to have them sign a decleration, which you keep, to say that they are buying the vehicle "as seen, tried and approaved, with all faults and findingd".

Prepare every document that you have for the car. Car registration, repair receipts, service/maintenance history. A used car value doesn't really get affected if it doesn't have much repair or damage in its history and if it properly serviced or maintained timely. Don't price the car more expensive than how you have acquired it. Compare car pricing in cars classifieds and make it a basis, in relation to your cars history and condition, to price your used car.

The Illinois state motto is related to the issues surrounding the power of an individual state versus the power of the Union.
