Babies need to be fed pinkie mice, and so you'll certainly need a supply of those. Until they grow a bit, neonates can be kept in tupperware boxes with just a paper towel as substrate. They need a water bowl, though they don't soak as much as older snakes so it doesn't have to be huge. They will need a sturdy rock to rub against. This will help them shed. Don't underestimate how strong your snake it- when I say a sturdy rock I mean it. They'll also need a hide box so that they can feel safe. Snakes need to thermoregulate themselves, so one side of the enclosure will need to be warmer than the other. Thte best way to do this is to put a heat pad under half the cage, or place is half on a heating duct. Obviously, your snake will grow, so before you commit to getting a snake you'll need to make sure you can look after an adult corn snake as well as a baby. Your best bet is to buy a book (or ten) on caring for corn snakes. You can never be too well researched.

Can a baby corn snake be housed in a 55 gallon Tank?

its possible but corn snakes ideally need a wooden vivarium to keep the heat in and because its a baby corn you will need a lot of decorum (shelters, plants, hides ect.) because corn snakes love to be under/inside things and especially if you house the corn in the glass tank it will need alot of hiding places to make it feel safe and also will need to be placed in an area that doesnt have alot of movement outside because corn snakes are quite shy. hope that helped :)

How much carbohydrate does a corn snake need?

A corn snake doesn't really need to count carbs. In fact, they probably don't need any at all. All they need is a mouse or rat every week or so (depending on their size), and they will be just fine. A snake is specifically adapted to getting all their nutritional requirements from their rodents.

Do corn snake need a heating pad?

Yes, corn snakes do need a source opf heat in their tank to keep their body temperature high enough, (75-80 degrees f). but heating pads aren't the best thing for the snakes because if it gets too hot, it will burn the snake as they do not have senses in theire scales. A heating lamp is a much better alternative.
