It depends on the version and the type of work you are doing in Photoshop.
Just plain editing (cropping, resizing etc.) it's best to have a large amount of space on the harddrive vs a lot of memory.
If you are repairing pictures (creases, waterstains, missing portions) then the memory and CPU come into play, i.e. harddrive gets less importance. Of the two, make sure you have all the memory your system can use. (Not hold, use.) Then put $ into the CPU.
If you are doing a lot of filter work, memory comes into play even more (the history memory stack becomes bigger and bigger and ...) As in repairing buy as much as your system can use (3g for XP, 4+ for vista, ? for Linux)
Yes,Adobe Photoshop is compatible with the Windows 7.Possibly the thing you need to see the other system requirements.Like ram and Graphics hardware and all.You need to have a good amount of RAM like 4 GB to have Photoshop run smoothly or else the Photoshop won't be able to store the things you create. The software also need more cache or will not work.Check for the Cache memory requirements for Photoshop.
No, or at least not if you want Photoshop to run in a stable manner. Upgrade your computer, or use something like Paint.net (getpaint.net) or pixlr (pixlr.com). Another factor to take into account when deciding if you can run Photoshop is RAM, or Random Access memory. You'll need about 2 GB of this.
Yes you just have to have the correct version of Photoshop for a Mac.
Adobe photoshop is installed to your hard drive, where as Photoshop portable can be places anywhere and run from anywhere, such as a USB drive.
You need a graphics card to use a monitor. What you mean to ask is if onboard graphics are enough to run photoshop, which they are. with CS5 you will see slightly better results with a high end graphics card if you are using the 3d features. With 2d editing you will barley notice a difference by switching to a better graphics card. The best way to increase photoshop performance by changing 1 part is to go from hdd to ssd for your storage, unless your system has too low of memory or is just really old and has a dated cpu.
Photoshop CS4 will not run acceptably well on a 1200 Athlon, even with ample memory.
All of them, the Macintosh computer was made for graphics and picture editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop.
The latest version of Photoshop as of June 2013 is Photoshop CC (Creative Cloud). It requires significant hardware horsepower to run, and requires a minimum of Windows 7 or 8.
While Adobe only supports Windows and Macintosh versions of Photoshop, you may be able to run Photoshop within Linux using Wine, a free application which attempts to allow programs written for Windows, to run on a Unix-like operating system.
It runs Windows 10. Anything that runs on Windows 10 should run fine on it.
There are many types of photo software that can run on a small laptop. The best one is Photoshop, but Gimp which is free is also good.
Photoshop is a huge memory hog. It requires a lot of RAM in order to run quickly and effectively. You may need to buy more RAM for your computer. Image manipulation does require a lot of memory. What's happening is that Photoshop is running an inventory of all the pics on your machine, if you set the preferences that way. There is a way in Photoshop to set a top end limit on the amount of ram allocated to photoshop, so you can do other things while it's open. I don't recall how to find it, but it's in there. The help files will probably tell you. Good luck.
