What to do for sinuses-

- Try to yawn, it relieves the stress and pressure in your head.

- Aspirin simulates the pressure relief of yawning, though slightly more effective, but contains side effects such as the slowing the production of cell growth, and slight grogginess.

- Take plenty of vitamins B, Ch, and C.

1. Vitamin C is found in grapefruit, oranges, and strawberries. Take 60 mg.

2. Vitamin Ch can only be found in tablets or chew ables.

3. Vitamin B is found in beans and potatoes.

- Breathe through a warm water washcloth.

I have used many things. If you are not opposed to using over the counter medications, Tylenol, Advil, or ibuprofen, will help swelling and used along with Sudafed (Phenylephrine) can help. Also use a heat pack on your face around they upper and lower eye area. I also have used cold packs on the top of the skull and base of the neck. Medical massage can also help this, but so can using your own hands and pressing on the areas that hurt on the back of your neck by the base of the skull, the top of the skull and also along the eyebrows and under the cheek bones. This will help drain them. Using nasal decongestants such as a nasal spray can also help relieve pressure. Allergies could also contribute to sinus pressure along with weather changes.

Pseudoephidrine (from the pharmacy, and you'll probably have to sign for it) and a good analgesic (aspirin, ibuprofen) are basic, and sleeping overnight in a closed room with a warm moist vaporizer will usually help a lot.

Sinus headaches are tough to combat because they are typically caused when the sinuses are enlarged. A good way to relieve the swelling of the sinus cavities is to use a cool mist vaporizer. Take the time to lay down, close your eyes, and breathe as deeply as possible. This should help relieve the sinus headache.

What food or drink can relieve a headache or hangover?

Depends on what kind of headache you have. Like for a sinus I eat Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup heated in the microwave with hot tea. For a different kind of headache, try drinking anything with caffeine. Like coffee or a Frappe from McDonald's. The Frappe really helped me. But also made me hyper and out-going. For the hangover, if you mean as in alcohol. Then I recommend that to be stopped.
