Remove the negative first and connect it back up last.

Remove the negative and then positive cables from the battery.
Battery is located on the passeger side. Remove the air filter that covers it. Remove negative cable on left side of battery. Then remove positive cable on right. Then remove battery drain tube on left side of battery. Remove two nuts on positive side of battery on clamp that secures it to vehicle. Remove battery and replace with new one. Then secure battery clamp with two nuts remove. Then replace drain tube, positive and then negative cables. Last replace air filter over battery.
Remove the seat. You will find the battery under it. Remove the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal.
First remove the Negative cable first, and then you can remove the positive cale safely. Al
it is located under the seat. there are four bolts to remove the black plastic battery cover. remove the positive + (red) leed first then the Negative - (black). remove the battery and place the new one in the battery box. hook up the negative - (black) then the positive + (red) to the battery. reinstall the battery cover then the seat.
Disconnect the positive battery cable from the battery, make sure you take off the positive one before the negative one. Then disconnect the negative cable. Remove the clamps holding the battery down. Pull the battery out. Put the new one in. Put the battery clamps back on. (make sure you clean the battery connections. make sure there is no corrosion) Connect the negative cable first, tighten it, then connect the positive cable and tighten it. You are done. disconnect the positive and negative connections ( only 2 connections ) remove battery. replace with new then connect the negative and positive connections to the correct terminals. There is a plastic cover over your battery. Remove the positive cable, then the negative cable (if its stock, then it uses an 8mm wrench). Then remove the plastic cover. On the side of the battery closest to the middle of the truck, there is a plastic "chunk" held down by an 8mm bolt. Use an 8mm socket with about a 10" extension to remove this. Take out the battery and replace using the reverse procedure. It should be replaced with a 65 series battery in your expedition. Note - black is negative. red is positive
It is underneath the backseat on the driver's side! Remove the positive and negative wire from battery post...pull battery out and replace!!
Remove the bolts that hold down the battery, remove the negative, remove the positive, and then pull it out. To install, do the following steps in reverse order.
Find your battery. Remove the negative post first. Then positive. Install new battery. Hook up positive post first, then negative. VROOM!
remome negative post first. Then remove coner frame brace. remove washer fluid container. remove positive post. remove batter locking block. turn battery sideways so positive side points to the front of the car. then at an angle remove battery from tray. install do reverse make sure the last thing you do is connect negative battery post.
The negative cable is removed first, then the positive. To re-connect, the positive goes first, then the negative.
