You have to be nice to him. This happened to me. But with my experience I say don't date him.. My best friend fell in love with me. I had another boyfriend. My best friend did all he could to win my heart, which caused me and my previous boy friend to break up. I dates my best friend. what happened was that he got a new best friend and later fell for her as well.. so he broke up with me..
Now, if you honestly don't wanna date him. Then just be clear to him that you only see him as a best friend. Nothing else. If you guys are that good of best friends, he would understand. email me at yaridzaal@live.com if you have any doubts!
