the four sparrows mean a family of two adults and two children
Mt:10:29: Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Mt:10:31: Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Lk:12:6: Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? Lk:12:7: But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Jesus said; "Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father". (Matthew 10.29)
No there has been no bad omens from flinging sparrows.
There are many different kinds of sparrows, with the two main groupings being the Old World sparrows and New World sparrows. Clutches tend to have 3 to 6 eggs.

Yes! Psalm 84:3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. Psalm 102:7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. Matthew 10 29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12 6Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. That the end is near,.... Its says nothing of the sort...... Read it or at least "google" it. Revelations is a warning of sorts to what will happen in the end of days but I dont recall it mentioning dead birds or fish in the masses.
All these answers are in US cents. English stamps were priced and sold in Sterling - 1d (one penny); 2d (two penny) etc
You have the gist of the verse, but not quite Jesus' actual words: Matthew 10:29-31 says, "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's will. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." Luke 12:6-7 remembers Jesus saying it just a bit differently: "Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows." The point is that God takes care of His entire creation, and nothing good happens without God making it happen. Indeed, everything about you and every need that you have are all known to God, and God sees to it that all is taken care of. The reasoning is: If God cares about such a minor thing as a bird falling to the ground, how much more does God care about you and what is happening to you!
