Google Chrome is currently in BETA state, that means it's still being deleloped, the chances are there is no way to fixit until it updates and becomes a NON-BETA version, you best bets are to get rid of it until a proper version comes out.
Don't delete it, just don't use it to browse the web. You need Microsoft's crappy browser to get updates for your computer OS. I've gone to the Microsoft Update with Firefox or Google Chrome, but you'll get an error message saying your browser isn't supported when you try to get updates. So, to make a long story longer keep IE for updates only.
You must be having an issue with the Internet Connection. Chrome does not fail downloads by itself.

It may help to know more about the symptomps you experience. For example, do you get any error message? You need a browser, with Java support. Sometimes if one browser doesn't work, you may try a different one. For example, if it doesn't work in FireFox you might try Opera or Google Chrome. Also, it is possible that at some places (for example, your school) access to known gaming sites has been blocked.
I don't have much to say, but maybe downloading it with download manager will make the installer error. So I try to download from another source outside google, I found <a href="http://downloads-app.blogspot.com/2013/02/google-chrome-250136497-stable-offline.html">Chrome Mediafire Link</a>. Tried to download it with IDM, and it works.
