The Supreme Court of India is the highest judicial forum and final court of appeal in India. It is also the highest appelate court and has therefore the power overrule judgments from High Courts and District Courts. It also holds the power of constitutional review. In conclusion, its jurisdictions include:

- Original jurisdiction;

- Appelate jurisdiction;

- Advisory jurisdiction.
