Almighty God sent about 1,25,000 prophets for the guidance of humans to the right path. They all preached ONENESS of Almighty God Who alone deserves worship. The Muslims believe in all the Prophets (May peace be upon them all) and respect them from the core of their hearts. These prophets came in turn during various periods of time to various nations, the majority of prophets came to the Jews.
Hazrat Jesus Christ (May peace be upon him) is as dear and respectable to Muslims as to any of the Christians. Hazrat Jesus Christ (MPBUH) came to the Jews who refused to accept him as a Prophet, rather they tried to crucify him.
The last Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (May peace be upon him) came when the real and genuine teachings of Jesus Christ (MPBUH) had been changed, corrupted, tempered with and altered.
