We had the chance to take a trip to the ATL and interview Shay on having a cea-section.
"Oh my God! When I felt my water break, I knew that I was going to feel a lot of pain. Of course, I had to take that damn epedural! After my second contraction, I tried to have a vagina delivery, but I couldn't. The doctors told me that the only way that my baby could get born, is if they perform a cea-section surgery on my stomach. At first, I was scared as hell! They gave me some strong ass medicine and deadend me. Because of that, I couldn't feel anyting. I mean NOTHING! 15 minutes later, I heard my baby crying, then I started crying. I couldn't believe it. April 14, 2008 at 7:45 p.m, my baby was born. And yes, Plies was there the whole time. After the nurse gave me my baby back, I slept in peace. My baby was out of my stomach and alive. They also had to repair my uterus back up. That didn't hurt at all either. And now, I have a small scar on my stomach. But, it's over. I am not planning on getting pregnant again! That s**t felt like menstrual cramps, only worse! But girls out there that are scared of labor pains, the pains will stop when you see your baby, believe me."
