WIT Alumni badges are issued to WIT members once they reach 19 years of age. The badges can also be issued to WIT members in good standing who decide to retire or move on from the program.

WIT Members and LeadersFirstly, to become a member of the WikiAnswers Influential Teens (WIT) Program, you need to be between the ages of 13-18, and have a minimum of 50 good non-message board contributions on WikiAnswers. However, we have now improved the program by instead dividing WIT into divisions. Our four divisions focus on contributing to different aspects of the site. What happens to WIT members when they turn 18 and don't want to leave?
If you want to keep participating in WIT, we would love to have you!! We certainly are not going to kick you out. :-) The WIT Program is currently open to teens between the ages of 13-18. Neila222, the WIT Coordinator, gives everyone missions based on their individual interests. Members receive prizes and reward badges for completing missions. Once you reach age 19, you will receive a WIT Alumni badge on your profile page. If you are still interested in working on WIT missions after that, then you most definitely can.

What do the WIT Adult Advisors do and how can you become one?
The Wikianswers Influential Teens (WIT) Adult Advisors are adults who have been invited by the WIT Program Supervisors to remain in the program when they are over 18 years old.WIT Adult Advisors can continue to do WIT tasks. They also occasionally help the WIT Program Supervisors keep the program running smoothly. For example they will be asked to help nudge the inactive members, scout for new members and so on.WIT Adult Advisors are also there to help answer any questions that WIT members may have and guide them through tasks.If you feel like you need a friend to speak to, again, the WIT Adult Advisors are there for you. However do bear in mind that these are volunteers who visit Answers in their spare time. When will the WIT teams be announced?
WIT DivisionsAlthough WIT is divided up into four divisions - Explorers, Trailblazers, Roadrunners and Warriors - WIT members contribute on an individual rather than a team basis. If you would like to join WIT, simply fill out the WIT Form (in Related Links below) and include your username, date of birth, the division you would like to join, your favorite topics on WikiAnswers and the username of the person who referred you to WIT.
What are the WIT teams?
WIT Teams were a way of dividing members into groups, or "teams", and having them complete missions. Nowadays teams have been removed and everyone is free to perform whatever WIT missions they like from the list of selectable missions available on the WIT page. Now, the "WIT Team" is used to refer to the Supervisors who run the program. they are Zapallar, Xnicola and Skullcandy88.
