A battery snap in electronics is what you connect a battery to. The battery snap then sends the electricity in the battery to the rest of the circuit. It's that simple.

My jeweler took my Arnette digital world time watch apart and said the battery could not be replaced...it was a "permanent" battery. Huh? Find another "jeweler". Yours probably broke something or is an idiot. Just do this: Take the band off by inserting a thin awl or other slim pointed object in the small openings on the underside of the watchband where the band attaches to the square face. Catch the lip of the pin that holds the band to the face and gently push it sideways. This will compress it and the band should pop off. Repeat for the opposite side and remove the band completely. With the watch-face, face down, notice a small dimple on the top center lip. Using the awl again of a small jewelers screw driver, wedge it in that dimple and pop the back off gently. The battery is now exposed. Gently pry off the metal band holding the battery in place and pop off one side. Do not try to unscrew the tiny screw on one end of that battery secure band. Remove the battery and insert a new Lithium AR 2030 battery ($2.79 for a five pack on Amazon with free shipping or any Walgreens or similar store). Snap the thin strip back over the battery to secure it. Replace the back cover and carefully snap it back on. Be careful the threadlike seal is not sticking out but is in place before snapping the back on. Reattach the band in reverse of how it was removed. You're good to go. Just be careful and gentle.

The function of a battery snap is to stop the current from the battery from flowing whenever you want to, and so that its safer.
A battery snap is two metal studs on a clip that has a positive and a negative wire coming off it. The battery snap is pushed on to the connectors on a 9 volt dry cell battery. The cables can then be connected to an electrical DC device that is rated to use 9 volts.

A single battery or battery holder is not considered either, as parallel and serial connections are about resistors, lights, and objects that use electricity, not supply it.

A battery snap is a kind of connector, used on certain batteries. Popular 9v batteries have terminals on them like a 'press stud'. They are polarized, one connection is like a claw and the other like a button. This make sure that the connection only fits one way round or on the correct terminals, preventing reverse polarity damage. Small batteries like the PP3, have the two connectors on one clip, or board. Larger batteries will have the connectors separate, one on each wire.

To take out the battery, snap the back off of the HTC Sensation 4G. Your phone will probably turn on then. If it doesn't, take it to your nearest t-mobile store.
Most keyless remotes just snap together. Look closely for a small notch in the seam of the remote. A regular watch style battery is inside.
