Red wire=positive
Black wire=negative
Connect the black wire to the incoming hot wire and the red wire to the out going load.
Black red and yellow is three-phase. there is no neutral.
The red and black wires are Line wires in a 3 wire service and includes a common (neutral) wire.
white wire = neutral bare wire = ground black wire = line voltage red wire = returned from a switch, or the other phase of line voltage in order to supply 240VAC
Where there is a red wire involved that usually indicates some type of special switching arrangement or more likely a 240 Volt circuit. In this case there will be 240 volts across the red and black and they will both be hot. Normally for 120 Volts the black is hot, the white is common and the bare wire is ground.
The red battery wire goes on the positive + battery terminal no matter which side it is on. The black wire goes on the negative - terminal.
The red wire is Positive, (+) and the Black wire is Negative. (-)
Black cables from Battery and buzzer to Lightswitch. Buzzer and Battery Red cables connected
The black wire means negative and the red wire means positive if that's what you where asking
Red to positive, black to negative
White wire is for signal voltage and the black wire sends the voltage to the battery, orange/red wire is your field wire that goes out to your external regulator, also there is a signal wire that goes to your battery gauge inside the cab.
disconnect the negative (black) first then positive (red).
Red is positive black is ground.
Negative - (Black) is Ground, Positive + (Red) is Hot. Ground wire goes to Negative (Black) it goes from negative on battery to engine for ground.
Battery wire is always the biggest wire of all.. It's either red or Blue/black for positive and the black for negative.. hope this helps..
The thick black wire is the negative which should be connected to the frame of the ATV (negative ground). The red wire comes from the battery positive terminal and should go to the start solenoid From the other side of start solenoid a red wire of the same size as the black one should go to the starter.
1. open trunk2. remove floor boards ( 2 layers)3. you will see the battery on right side near the spare wheel4. loosen ground wire clamp (black wire) and remove it first from battery post5. disconnect red wire6. replace battery, secure it and connect RED wire first7. connect black wire
