Centaurs figure in Greek Mythology. They are essentially half or more Horse with Human heads and faces. Some might have six limbs- regular human-like arms so they can well write and handle things. The television cartoon version of Hercules had a character that was a form of centaur, but was a child and more or less Calf-like. ( be advised the Taur in Centaur may derive from Taurus- latin word for Bull- as in the Zodiac sign.) The Centaur character was evidentally the son ( possibly adopted) Of Hercules and his Venus-like Wife, Hera. He was a boy but had a feminine voice- they got some crazy things in the Toons. Must have come from a cold climate as he had side hair dressing like a cocker spaniel. and did I tell you, the chap"s name was, of all things, Newton! a matter of gravity indeed.
