Mayflowers grow wild here in W. PA and in most of the NE/Mid Alt US. They usually grow in the shady underbrush and are about 8-10" tall, single stem with 5-6 leaves radiating out from the center. The leaves are roughly oblong with a slightly pointed tip. For a week or so in the spring they will reveal small white "apples" that are about one inch in diameter hanging from the underside of the leaves center (top of stem).
Hope this Helps,

The Mayflower was an English ship and would have flown the Union flag appropriate at the time, which looks much like the modern British flag but the diagonals would have been purely white instead of the current white-and-red as the St. Patrick's Cross flag of Ireland had not yet been incorporated.

A pastoral mural.
The un-cared garden for a few years will look like a jungle. Because in a jungle, the growth of plants will be uncontrolled. Hence, many unwanted plants (weeds) will appear and compete with the garden plants. It will give a look of a jungle.
Insects, myriapods, terrestrial crabs and woodlice are what garden bugs look like. Centipedes and millipedes number among a garden's myriapods. Pill bugs, also called doodle bugs and roly polies, serve as common examples of woodlice.
